CARDOX sea bed rock excavation can be used in a wide variety of sea bed rock excavation applications. Our specialist certified dive teams have built up considerable expertise in using CARDOX and have completed numerous underwater contracts AROUND the UK on budget and on time.

The benefits of using Cardox is that it can be used in sensitive areas such as in the case study below, And that High Explosive could not be used incase the integrity oil terminal infrastructure was compromised.

We deploy diver held diamond core drill rig which can reach 1 meter in depth at 57 mm for Cardox charges and drilling patterns, alternatively a floating barge drill rig can be used depending on contract scale. Cardox sea bed excavation can be tailored to suit clients requirements.

BRIEF CASE STUDY 1

The client required our Cardox excavation team to clear 1.5m in depth around specific high spot areas at an oil terminal through coarse grain granite bed rock. Using the appropriate drill bit to suit the granite we were able to reach a drill depth of 800 mm. Our dive teams removed around 10 tons of excavated granite bed rock within given time scales.  Once the granite bed rock depth was achieved the oil terminal refuelling tanker was given the all clear to approach especially in spring low tides.Our dive teams are currently on contract to a major Civil Engineering company in the UK.
